SSF state
Now for the Surface Spin Flop (SSF) state. The instability will ocur
at the momentum antiparalell to the applied field. In our case this is
at the 'bottom' of the layers.
At the first 'jump' the 'frustrated' momentum (the outer one) makes a
flop of approximately 180 degres. Then this state hops inside the
momenta, thus forming the 'domain wall', and at the end the
configuration reaches the bulk spin flop state. (If you missed
something, you can either reload the page, thus starting the movie
again, or wait till the next loop)
