Domain wall observaions in magnetic multilayers

Using high resolution Kerr microscope with digitally enhanced image treatment system we 
studied domain walls as a function of the interlayer thickness in the ferromagnetically 
coupled regions of a magnetic Fe-sandwich structure with wedge shaped Cr-spacer layer both 
experimentally and theoretically. By measuring the wall width the magnetic coupling 
strength is accessible in the ferromagnetically coupled regions of such sandwiches.
